Summary

This week's episode is dedicated to answering some "why" questions sent in by listeners. The team begins by discussing why God allowed imperfection and sin to affect his perfect creation, what "good" really means, and why God allows suffering, especially in the lives of Christians. Pastor Matt then addresses how we can overcome a pessimistic outlook on life, the necessity of being real with ourselves in order to have healthy relationships, and Christian legalism regarding holidays.

The episode continues as the team discusses the consequences of accepting or rejecting Jesus, why God allows us to choose, the reasons that Christians should read the Old Testament, and what the Bible means when it refers to the army of God.

Pastor Matt concludes this episode by explaining the rapture and exhorting Christians to value people over pets.
