  • This will be a group ceremony, meaning that several couples will be on stage getting married at the same time.
  • You are welcome to invite your family and friends to the ceremony. The time will be released after we determine the number of couples participating. *A limited number of upfront seats will be allocated for each couple.
  • You MUST complete our 8-week pre-marriage class. There will be a few different options and campuses to choose from. They will all start the week of July 28th, 2024, and the cost is $75.

  • If you have been previously married, there is one additional requirement. Details will be emailed to you.

FAQ

If you would like to be married on another day, Pastor Matt will NOT be available, but one of our licensed ministers or pastors would be happy to perform your ceremony. You will need to cover the cost of the officiant’s honorarium. You can still take this pre-marriage class or go through our regular process by visiting sandalschurch.com/marriage.

The only other option is to do four sessions with one of our recommended licensed counselors, who can be found at sandalschurch.com/counselingreferrals. You must get a form signed by the counselor that says you completed the four sessions. This will be at your own cost.

If you are not able to make at least six of the eight classes before the group ceremony, you will need to sign up for pre-marriage at another date. You will not be able to participate in the ceremony performed by Pastor Matt.

You must BOTH attend the pre-marriage sessions. Building into your marriage BEFORE it starts is the best way to have a healthy marriage, and all of the leadership at Sandals Church wants you to have a healthy marriage. We care about your marriage.

You are welcome to take the pre-marriage class, but you can change your mind and are not obligated to get married.

At Sandals Church, we believe that God designed marriage to be a big deal. We know it isn’t easy, and everyone needs help to have a great marriage. Because of our love for you, we want to invest in your marriage and make sure you are as prepared as possible to have a lifelong, God-honoring marriage.

Yes, for Sunday morning classes. No child care is available for evening and weekday classes.

All participants must agree with the statement of faith found on the form (link above), which is based on the biblical perspective of marriage, which specifies one man and one woman.

Yes, but you must still attend the pre-marriage classes before the group wedding ceremony.

The class, including the materials, costs $75. This is less than the cost of one counseling session with a professional counselor.

We are truly sorry, but no additional stage design will be allowed due to the large number of couples getting married.

Yes, but with the large number of people, there will be limitations on where they can go and what they can access.

Of course!
