When you give to Sandals Church, you join God in changing lives and helping people become real. Sandals Church exists because of normal, everyday people who have chosen to give and in doing so have created a place where we can all be real with ourselves, God and others.
Baptism – Jason Montes
Jason Montes received a staff engagement text from Pastor Moi a few months ago, which must have been a wrong number. Jason had never heard of Sandals Church, but recently had a real encounter with God and knew that he needed to be baptized. So when he received a text from a pastor, he responded with needing information on baptisms. Fortunately, baptisms were coming up the following week at Sandals Church Anaheim. Pastor Moi reached back to him with all the information and Jason signed up, showed up at Sandals Church Anaheim and was baptized this past summer. Jason continues to attend and is so excited that through a miracle of a “wrong number” God led him to Sandals Church and the vision of BEING REAL with our Self, God and Others.
Marriage – Javier and Brittany Sanchez
It is so exciting to see what God is doing in the lives of Javier and Brittany Sanchez. A few years ago, they were really struggling with their marriage. Through a series of God-filled events, Jesus completely changed their lives and saved their marriage. They started coming to Sandals Church Anaheim early this year and jumped right into our vision of being real. They have been faithful volunteers on our Guest Services team and connected with others through our monthly Young Marrieds groups. Both Javier and Brittany decided to get baptized in July, excited to declare to the world their desire to follow Jesus. Their story is a huge testament to what Jesus can do in a marriage and family when you are faithful to him.
